- 225g white chocolate, chopped
- 85g unsalted butter
- 115g icing sugar
- 50g powdered custard
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ΒΌ tsp almond extract (optional)
- Sprinkles, for decoration
Instructions
- Measure out your rice squares cereal into a large bowl.
- In a large, microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and almond extract (if using) into the melted white chocolate mixture.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the rice squares cereal in the bowl. Gently toss everything together until the cereal is evenly coated.
- In a large zip-top bag, combine the icing sugar and powdered custard. Seal the bag tightly and shake it well to mix the two ingredients together.
- Add the chocolate-covered cereal to the bag with the icing sugar and custard mixture. Seal the bag tightly and shake well until the cereal is completely coated.
- Spread the puppy chow in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Immediately sprinkle with your favourite sprinkles.
- Allow the puppy chow to set completely. Break it apart and store in an airtight container.
