Ingredients
Scale
450g milk chocolate chips
450g semi-sweet chocolate chips
450g white chocolate chips
450g dry roasted peanuts, unsalted
450g pretzels, broken into small pieces
1 tsp vanilla extract
Festive sprinkles, for decoration
Instructions
Prepare your slow cooker. Line it with baking parchment. This makes it infinitely easier to remove the candy later and avoids any sticking.
Layer the chocolate chips, peanuts, and pretzels into the slow cooker. Start with the milk chocolate, then the semi-sweet, then the white chocolate. Next add the peanuts and pretzels. Layering helps everything melt evenly.
Cover and cook on low for 1-2 hours, stirring every 20-30 minutes. This is crucial to prevent burning. The chocolate should be completely melted and smooth when stirred.
Once melted, remove the slow cooker insert from the base (if possible) or turn off the heat completely. Stir in the vanilla extract until it’s well combined.
Spread the mixture evenly onto the prepared baking parchment. Use a spatula to ensure it’s a uniform thickness.
Immediately sprinkle with festive sprinkles. The sooner you do this, the better the sprinkles will adhere to the chocolate.
Allow the candy to cool completely at room temperature. This usually takes a couple of hours. Once cool, break it into pieces and store.
